We acknowledge our sins against You and the rest of creation. We have not been good stewards of nature. We have confused Your command to subdue the earth. The environment is made to suffer our wrongdoing, and now we reap the harvest of our abuse and indifference. Global warming is upon us, typhoons, floods, volcanic eruption, and other natural calamities occur in increasing number and intensity.

We turn to You, our loving Father, and beg forgiveness for our sins. We ask that we, our loved ones and our hard earned possessions be spared from the threat of calamities, natural and man-made. We beseech You to inspire us all to grow into responsible stewards of Your creation, and generous neighbors to those in need. Courtesy of the Diocese of Pasig. Prayer and Intercession for Peace in Syria. God of compassion, hear the cries of the people of Syria.

Comfort those who suffer violence. Console those who mourn the dead. Give strength to Syria's neighboring countries to welcome the refugees. Convert the hearts of those who have taken arms and protect those who are comitted to peace.

Ephesians Commentaries & Sermons | Precept Austin

God of hope, inspire leaders to choose peace over violence and to seek reconciliation with their enemies. Inflame the Universal Church with compassion for the people of Syria and give us hope for a future built on justice for all. Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.

May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host - by the Divine Power of God - cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits, who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Lord Jesus Christ, you have taught us to be merciful like the heavenly Father, and have told us that whoever sees you sees Him. Show us your face and we will be saved.

Your loving gaze freed Zacchaeus and Matthew from being enslaved by money; the adulteress and Magdalene from seeking happiness only in created things; made Peter weep after his betrayal, and assured Paradise to the repentant thief.

You are the visible face of the invisible Father, of the God who manifests his power above all by forgiveness and mercy: let the Church be your visible face in the world, its Lord risen and glorified. You willed that your ministers would also be clothed in weakness in order that they may feel compassion for those in ignorance and error: let everyone who approaches them feel sought after, loved, and forgiven by God.

Send your Spirit and consecrate every one of us with its anointing, so that the Jubilee of Mercy may be a year of grace from the Lord, and your Church, with renewed enthusiasm, may bring good news to the poor, proclaim liberty to captives and the oppressed, and restore sight to the blind.

We ask this through the intercession of Mary, Mother of Mercy, you who live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever. Joshua b. Read more. After the death of Mattathias, his son Judas, called Maccabeus, took up the leadership. Jesus lamented for Jerusalem, the holy city, because it did not recognize the time of its visitation. Absalom turned against his own father David, who was forced to flee for his life.

David then composed this psalm.

Jesus Invites You to Abide

Almighty Father, in these dark times when evil is rampant throughout the world, you have called us, chosen us, and appointed us to rise in defense of your work. We are your missionary families, commissioned to defend faith, family and life. To be founded on the Rock that is Christ is to be an authentic disciple. It is to have the mind and heart of Jesus. It is to look to him as the Master who is to be obeyed in everything. Our Core Values describe who we are and what we are called to do in the world.

They provide parameters and constant guideposts in the pursuit of our life and mission. This video exposes the fraud of climate alarmists, who manipulate data in order to project statistics and situations that they want to, contrary to the actual scientific data. The fraud is in half-truths, which often are worse than outright lies. Of course you know who the father of lies is.

Climate always changes, and that is normal.

A Study of the Messiah and His Mission according to Holy Scriptures both Ancient and Modern

Climate alarmism is fueled by globalists who like to drastically cut the population of the earth. Now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? There was much violence, iniquity, evil, destruction, strife and discord, and the people were crying out to God for help. God points them to the vision. Globalists and depopulationists claim that the science is settled on climate change, even as their doomsday predictions time and again keep being proven wrong. They claim a majority of scientists agree with them. That of course is all false.

They had other priorities. That seems to be the case with most Catholics today. Our Church is a missionary Church, but most of her members are not doing mission. We need to be built on Rock. That is about who we are and what we do. It is about our relationship with God and our doing the work of God. Jesus is the way and the truth and the life. Truth is about honesty. But in this parable, Jesus commends a dishonest steward.

We are members of the one body of Christ, founded on the Rock that is Christ. We must know who we are and what we are called to be. Our very first Core Value is Centered on Christ. As we center our lives on Christ, then we are building on Rock. Paul gives instructions regarding the qualifications of bishops and deacons.

For us in lay ecclesial movements, these qualifications can also provide guidance for our top servant leaders. According to the design of God, a Christian family is led by the husband, supported by his wife. The husband is the priest, provider and protector. There is much we can learn from this episode. A behavioral scientist has proposed eating people after they die as a way to combat climate change. As I have said before, there indeed is climate change. Climate changes all the time, sometimes hotter, sometimes cooler.

The HOAX is in the proposition that such climate changes will ultimately destroy the planet. Many predictions of doom have been given through the decades, and NONE of them have come true. We are families on mission. Mission means doing what Jesus sends us to do.

Indeed, today darkness and sin are widespread. This is true even for some Catholics. Climate change a. Though there will always be climate change, both warmer and cooler, the hoax is about the doomsday predictions. None of the dire predictions have come true, but still, people fall for the hoax. Today we face an unprecedented crisis of faith in the world and in our Church. There is apostasy, lapsed Catholics, lost sheep, homosexual clerical predation.

It is gaining a lot of ground, including among Catholics. We have just had our 38 th anniversary celebration yesterday in Manila, a very joyous and Spirit-filled event. God has affirmed us as Families on Mission.
